School's out shortly meaning - it's time to start planning our lemonade stands to make money to get a few more of our dream buys.
My friends and I this weekend sold lemonade and orange juice so this is what I learned while selling them.
Here's my 10 top ten things that I think will help your lemonade stands succeed:

1. LOCATION:
Maybe the most important factor for success.
My recommendation - find a location where a lot of people walk there (or bikers).
If you're not selling enough lemonade - find a new location.

2. TIME OF DAY:
Every location has different hours of the day where you'll get the most traffic. So make sure you figure this out or you'll waste a lot of time standing next to an empty lemonade booth.
3. PRICE
Don’t be greedy. Obviously if you ask for too much money per cup - you won’t get too many clients. I prefer to sell for less per cup but sell more cups but if selling “high end” lemonade is your thing - go for it.
Also, check if you have competition nearby from other lemonade stands and then ask for less. (It actually happened to us this weekend when we were competing with a stand down the street).
That said: Don’t undersell your lemonade.
Don't be afraid of hustling for clients and don't forget the minimum you should sell a cup is $1. When I started I sometimes was so afraid no one will buy my lemonade I sold it for too cheap for one quarter which was less than what it cost it costs to manufacture.
4. FIXED PRICING
Place a sign with the price so everyone will know there’s a fixed price.

5. ADD ONS
If you have the option - sell additional things. I once sold both lemonade and orange juice so for anyone not liking lemonade there was another option.

6. MAKE IT LOOK HIGH END
We’re not just making it taste good, it has to look good. A little lemon on the side of the cup can make even the cheapest lemonade look high end.
7. RECIPE
Use a recipe, don't just go with your gut feeling, search up or find a recipe . I made the mistake of experimenting and let’s just say… it doesn’t always work out. So taste your product before selling it.
8 CUSTOMER SUPPORT
The customer is always right so give them a refund if they don't like it and ask them what to fix for next time. There's a lot of customers out there so look for new customers.

.
9. BRING FRIENDS
You’re going to be working for a while and it can get boring so bring friends to help and share the profits in a fair way so you’ll all stay friends and be able to sell more all summer.

DON'T DRINK YOUR LEMONADE!
And finally the obvious thing which doesn’t need to be on the list -
Don’t drink all the lemonade even if you made a batch that’s amazing!! It’s for your customers.
